I'm a physicist working on quantum reservoir computing: using the natural, noisy dynamics of Rydberg atom arrays as a computer, rather than fighting them.
I'm a PhD student in Milan, where I also study where quantum computing can genuinely matter for the energy industry, and where it can't. I collaborate with the quantum group at IFISC in Palma de Mallorca. Most of my days go into open quantum systems: Lindblad dynamics, dark states and dissipation as a resource.
Away from the desk I shoot film, point a star tracker at a light-polluted sky, and keep a journal of places and photographs.
